We would like to welcome you and your child to the Love Bug room, your child’s first step into preschool. In the months ahead we will be helping your child further develop their self-help skills, potty training and promoting independence. We encourage the children to put their own shoes on and putting their jackets on “the Love Bug way”. We formulate our lesson plans based on the children’s interests, abilities and what is happening in the world around us. We believe in working in unison with parents to ensure consistency between home care and our childcare. We are excited to be a part of your child’s journey.

6:30-7:30 Dropoff in the Happy Face classroom, free play

7:30-9:00 Breakfast in Love Bugs, toileting, free play

9:00-10:00 Small group, planned and structured activities

10:00-10:30 Large group circle time, reading stories, songs

10:30-11:15 Outside, gym, large muscle room gross motor play

11:15-12:00 Toileting, story time, prepare for lunch, lunch

12:00-1:00 Large motor, reading stories, finish toileting, quiet time activities, prepare for rest

1:00-3:00 Nap

3:00-3:30 Waking up, toileting

3:30-4:00 Snack, large group circle time, songs and stories

4:00-5:00 Outside, gym, large muscle room gross motor play

5:00-6:00 Small group activities, small motor, tactile, free play, departure
